Squeaky floor in one spot

Our 4 year old sport 22fb now has a very noisy squeak in one spot.
It is on the right side of the fridge, left side of the uwave
It seems to be located close to the top of the road side wheel.

Anyone else seen thus?
Any means to determine the cause?
Any solutions?

Have you checked all of the doors (cabinet) as well as tightened all of the screws in each? These do come loose over time and need a tightening every now and then.

A squeaky floor above fresh water or holding tanks can be caused by inadvertent tank pressurization, caused either by over filling of fresh water or improper tank flushing. The thin walled plastic tank expands up, pushing the floor and loosening the fasteners. Once the pressure is released, the damaged floor area then flexes when walked on and often squeaks.

We have a squeak in our 2016, 26u. The holding tank theory is interesting. Should be easy to verify if the squeaks go away when tanks are full.

Our 2 year old 2017 (FC rear bed unit) was squeak free. Then the shower wand fixture developed a slight leak in the wall and I saw water leaking out of the floor/wall junction. I got it fixed by cutting an access port in the wall to get to the pipe fitting. About a couple of months after that, the floor near the leak developed a squeak that will not go away (the walkway between the wall and the bed). Nothing structural as it was not a lot of water - the floor boards are all solid. If you have a water leak from the refrigerator or plumbing that gets the floor wet, that could cause a squeak.

We had a squeak in our 2017 when it was new and we had noticed the squeak in other new trailers we had viewed. In our 2017, it was an easy fix and not related to any water damage. The trim where the floor and wall meet needs to be tightened. There are screws. The dealer fixed this for us when we bought it and it hasn’t squeaked since. Try this simple solution.

squeaky floor

Our floor started squeaking between the shower and head doors (2017 27FCFBT). We also had water leaking from the shower (somewhere) that discolored the floor. Not sure if the water caused the squeak.

Since this was under warranty, we had JC do the repairs. They replaced the floor and reinforced the floor frame/joist between the shower and head (apparently this can be a weak point).

The squeak has not re-appeared.

Our 2019 27' has a squeaky floor by the refrigerator when the stabilizers are not in use. Once the stabilizers are down the squeak goes away.

2019 23ft International Serenity squeaky flooring in front of bathroom fixed by LasVegas Airstream under warranty extended because of Covin shut down. Fix lasted two weeks. Didn’t realize how prevalent floor problems were. Put up with the squeaky floor through summer traveling, going to dealer see what can be done. I’m ready to screw the floor to the frame.

Obsessive Squeak at Night

Squeak, squeak.... squeak in the middle of the night. Loud. Laying in Bed. Woke Nancy and I up.

Grizz, the youngest Blue Heeler was working a 'Squeaky Rubber Ball Toy'. The better the squeak, the quicker the squeak.

Took the Toy, put it into the back of the pickup. First Service Station left it at the Doggie Park. For someone else to solve their... squeaks.

Another mild squeak was along the hard rubber trim screwed along side the linoleum and the wall. Backed out some screws, the squeak quit. Then tightened the screw into the floor. Solved those squeaks, as well.

Never thought the Floor Trim, intended to cover the edge of the linoleum floor along the wall, could squeak. It can. It did. It was fixed. Makes me a Neanderthal Genius? Nope. Just handy with a hand held battery operated hand drill with a phillips head drill bit.
