Install Rear Hitch on AS to Pull Boat
This is an ebay listing. Check out the hitch installed to pull a boat behind the Airstream. I wonder if a dealer installed the hitch.

I wonder it they tried to pull a boat?

How scary...
Just because you can have it done...
Sway... only when I am towing a boat behind my Airstream

Here in Ohio, where it's legal to tow tandem up to 75' overall length, I actually saw a towed Airstream (about 25', not much overhang) with a small (14-15' maybe) lightweight aluminum boat behind it. Boat tongue weight was probably 50 pounds for 600-700 pound total weight. Nice setup.

It says that is what the hitch is for, but I am not sure if it ever was done. I don't think it is a good idea, but you could probably get away with making the hitch into a thrid brake light mount. It would be eye level for any cars with lowered suspensions...

The idea of the hitch on the back end of tow-able Airstream is as good as the format of the add and its description. I can just see towing 8K AS with half ton TV. I also wonder if a 200 lbs aluminum boat would tow or sail at 70mph, when TT goes by. Unless you have a lot of experience backing up a triple, especially those with multiple and unequal length pivot points, you better leave the boat at home. Thanks, "Boatdoc"

Battle drums a' coming
Oh man, I can wait to read the replys of the rear sep folks. I just hope they don't find out I have a dump hose, a garden hose AND a roll of duct tape stored in my rear bumper! I even towed a few miles with some liquid in my black water tank.
