2019 - Airstream mandating power awnings ?

We have a 2016 International Serenity. The big awning over the door is electric. All other awnings are manual and much smaller. Easy to maneuver. I have seen people trying to pull that big (30foot long) manual awning in on a windy day. Not easy, even for my friend who is over 6 feet tall......I wouldn't trade my electric awning for this very reason. One touch of the button, and that thing is retracted. Battery power has never been an issue, even when boondocking on our solar batteries.
