Shipping in container

Hi- anyone know if a 24 ft and 28 ft argosy motorhomes could fit in a 53 ft shipping container. Length should be ok with a foot to spare its the width im concerned about. Im told this oversized container has interior width of 8'4""

Have you measured the length of the motorhomes? A few inches over the length and you'd have a problem. As it is, 1 foot only leaves 4 inches of gap between the motorhomes and the end walls and between each other.

Also, what about the height? The height of the MH is over 10'

EDIT: A quick search of shipping container dimensions shows heights of only 9' 6" external and 8' 9" internal for a high cube container. It also shows that the size is the external size and there is a reduction of 8" on the internal size.

Internal height for high cube is actually 8’ 5”. You will need to clean the roof off and remove wheels (low profile skids) for shipping. Custom sized boxes run cost up considerably but are an option..

I have seen all kinds of things roll into and off of your basic Ro-Ro vessel, including helicopters (with the blades folded). Probably a much easier way to go.
