Walnut Hills

What happened to checking out those campgrounds suggested before? KC looked good even if there is a bumpy road. Durand, MI is far for us Ohioans to join you. If that one is picked it is too far for us to make it.
What happened to the poll? Hey, Lou! Where are you?

OK.
I just checked on Mapquest and Durand is approximately another 85 miles from Dundee. To me it is actually closer to home.
To others it could very well be a deal-breaker.
I, myself, am not that worried about where we hold the rally. I can take either one.
The absolute nice thing is that we now have one to the north and one to the south.
It looks like we have the making of a poll now.
What do the rest of you think?
This does have to be handled democratically. After all, I am President Lou and not King Lou!

Well I know girls like Carol go way south into Ohio to do the Girlie Girl Rallies and look at Sharon!!! She comes way from NE Ontario to go to them too..Seen both.. Mine goes to Walnut...But its not a deal breaker for me either way...Also Walnut is closer to Byran Mi.. Durand is mailing address...Its west off US23....

Hi Steph,
We're open any other weekend in August. If the group decides the weekend of Aug 15 - 17 is best, I'm sure Derek will still be there.

Just got home from our trip to Kentucky, all went well with no problems. Our first night we set up next to an older Airstream Motorhome. Three other Airstreams rolled in for the second and third nights. Nice to see so many airstreams in one campground.

OK. I propose that we keep oursleves open to the following weekends:
August 1-3 (The third rally was held on this weekend)
August 8-10 (The second rally was held on this weekend)
August 15-17
August 22-24 (The first rally was held on this weekend)

Any of them should work for me. I would like to find one that works for all of us.

Aug.

Any weekend in August is still open for us.
KC is not possible on Aug. 8-10 due to the festival.
Then the end of August almost all of the kids will be readying to head back to school days.
We still like KC on the weekend of Aug. 15-17th.
Where are the rest of you? Chime in!!!!

I will be posting a poll on here tomorrow night.
The great campground debate can continue then.
Until then just try to settle on a date. I need input so I am not sounding like a total doof to these people when I call them.
I would like to have a date nailed down.
The date thing will be settled by then.
The Hell campground was ruled out two years ago mainly because we have attendees that are allergic to horses. That campground caters to horses.
The campground debate has been handled.
The two that we will vote on are Walnut Hills and KC. I just need to hammer down a date now.
If we are going with the 15-17, then let's do it.

Think of this....

The campground choices on the poll will be:

KC Campground

Walnut Hills Campground.

They are far enough apart to allow for an impartial vote.
Take your time.....
Think about them.....
Then vote tomorrow night.....
