Yes you can (during the day on the grounds and in the vendor area only). The open house is on Saturday afternoon.

Typically there are about 15 to 20 vintage Airstreams on display. You also need to have a look at the extreme Airstream that will be exhibited in the vintage area by Phil Lark. Lots of lights, bells, whistles, electronics, etc.
The registration list will be posted at the rally on the bulletin boards.

Bike Ride
Anyone interested in an organized bike ride while at the rally? The legacy trail is an old rail bed that has been converted into a hiking/biking path. The Northern point is located in Sarasota and continues South to Venice, Fl. Total round trip about 24 miles. The trail travel through a State Park across several small bays and past a restored train station/museum. Like most of Florida the trail is flat and not a strenuous bike ride. We can plan an early morning ride with a stop at a coffee shop at the halfway point. Or leave a little later with lunch at Pop's Sunset Grill, an old Florida grill and pub located on the inter coastal waterway.

Yes, yes to bike ride. We are bring 2 folding bikes, nothing fancy. We will leave our cat in AS, as long as temp. is OK...Lewis #3999

Bike Ride
OK this is a beginning. Let's see if we can get a good size group to bike to Venice. I am beginning to see a large group of Airstream T-Shirts heading down the trail.

The authorities are saying the fire on I75 may burn for a long time, so please be careful for the next few weeks. Be careful going to the rally especially at night, visibility could still be close to zero at times. SLOW DOWN!!! jim

There is a bulletin board at the rally and every year in the past we have had used Airstreams For Sale posted on the board. One of the dealers in Florida (usually Bates) also brings several new ones for all to see and tour and deals are made right there in the parking lot. Come have a look.

This is our first time to the rally. We will be heading north on I-75 from the Naples area. I can see on the map that it's easy to get to, but is there a certain gate to go into?
We have already volunteered for security so we will be arriving Sunday.

We will be going to Disney World after the rally, is it possible for any of you Florida residents to get us the cheaper tickets that you have access to? The savings for Florida residents is quite alot.

There is a parking lot on Fruitville Rd out in front of the fairgrounds and the arena. There will be a tent set up in the lot for the gate cashiers and parkers. You will be making a left turn into the center of the lot, and then turn into the lot and head towards the tent. There should be flaggers there to wave you in.
If you arrive late, there will be a phone number posted to call for parking assistance. Stay in the lot until you are escorted in to avoid any problems.

It's probably not possible. The last time I bought tickets, I had to show my FL drivers license, both when I bought the tickets and arrived at the gate with them.

You will be provided the rally schedule booklet when you register at the event. It isn't posted on line anywhere--but probably should be.

I registered 301 units (trailers and motorhomes) for the event, 575 people, but unfortunately that doesn't include Pat and I. We won't be able to attend this year.
Hope everyone has a great time, and if you are coming as a non-WBCCI member or a MAL, look up Ron Allen (#3433) or Phil Drugge (#4941) from the Florida Unit. Tell them I sent you.
And be sure to check out Phil Lark's Extreme Airstream, Saturday in the vintage area. You won't believe the electronics he has packed in there.
