Seriously folks (yeah right, seriously, on THIS thread?) is the Russian River near our impending campsites: kayak-able, canoe-able, any type of boat-able, swim-able, dog swim-able, fish-able or ???
Inquiring minds want to know...

Well Kevbo, mi amigo, I live near Morro Bay and we have been hoping for rain for some time now. Sorry it happened at your Vintage Rodeo. At least you can enjoy the ambiance inside the well decorated Kevbomobile.

Why yes, it does. Have you seen me bobbing by when you've camped at the beach??
Anyone know where I can purchase those giant oars?

ahhhh yes Bam.....the river meanders around Casini on 3 sides. So Casini always floods when the river is high. Looks like we won't be worrying about that this year, though. Somewhere back in this endless thread, Jeff posted a sat pic showing just how close the river goes around Casini.
The river is good for any type of activity: wading, swimming, kayaking, fishing, rafting, etc. But it will be a little early in the year I imagine for swimming. Activity possibilities for Saturday are endless.

Thanks Big Dee. I was hoping to enjoy the river surrounding us. Is the area near the campground good for kayaking or rafting? (Wondering if I should bother bringing such things?)

What? You are not gonna float the QS down the river for the excitement of the rally participants. If you do it, we will help you haul it back on land. Promise.

Yes, welcome back Paula! That's a heck of a long haul from Needles to Sac.! Glad you made it safe and sound...
We also got a nice confirmation from Casini, so everyone probably did. Sounds like a lot of choices for activities, and many places to check out. Or not. Also looks like a great place to just kick back and enjoy.

No, not THOSE toys from that drawer...wrong forum for that.
I mean kayaks, canoes, rafts, inner tubes, personal flotation devices, fishing poles, swimwear, scuba gear, scooters, bicycles, tricycles, unicycles, motorcycles, mopeds, roller skates, in line skates, karaoke machines, baseballs, footballs, basketballs, and margarita balls...to name a few.

Concern...
i'd like to thank my many friends who have Emailed ( or in SMS, text ) in regards to my arriving home safely from the morro bay, mixed vintage SOB rally. i'm over whelmed by the sincerity, it means a lot to me.
i arrived home in simi valley about 4pm, parked the AS, unloaded, started laundry, detailed the interior (i know everybody does interior and exterior upon arrival at home, i just do the interior) and my personal assistant had my favorite dinner prepared.
in regards to the rally. TO HOTT. i love when people bring there personality and they understand the F word (fun).
happy trails.
sincerely,
kevin
