Yes, bring at least one of those scopes!! There's a nudist camp just over the hill... I think I see M24 ahead!

I did that 'getting locked out' thing that happens sometimes when leaving the trailer and not taking the keys with me at all times! Had to call AAA and they 'broke' in quite quickly by the way....no permanent harm done but now I have a screen flapping over my dinette!
|
ms. babee,
i know at least 10 other streams that have exerienced this same "locking out" thing as happened to you also. i personally consider this to be a serious flaw in the front door lock design. i keep a set of keys on my wrist for the AS front door (when out and about), and a set hidden (don't need to kiss n' tell).
so it happens.
AND we all learn.
and i'm glad you brought it up.

Hey babee...you can reset your screen by using the back of a spoon and pressing the gasket thingy gently back in. Just go slowly.

I could name names but there are a few of you guys competing in this thread to out pace what would have been Paula's posts. I have been quietly here 'listening' when I haven't been noisilly (if you know what mean) wrestling the toilet and black tank from our TW. Dang I gotta replace some floor too!

mr. hol,
i find that by adjusting the foil under my overly huge cowboy hat "just so"; it aids in not only "hearing cody bear", but our lost in space nor cal rally scribe, "cam".

Report From Site 27, Morrow Bay State Park - Live
over officious vintage rally greeter reporting. this is a vintage rally (doh), 5:00am, STILL the only person up. i am relaxing in my persian palace, and yes it's lush and plush, however i've chucked the red velvet in favor of muted tones of red, orange, yellow. so mean while, back here at the remote ranch, it would'nt be fair to report whom is sleeping with whom till at least say friday nite, and well i will, later, much later (will require invading person space, being annoying, and a big dose of kevin).
the drive from simi valley was just superb. left my southern headquarters at precisly 10:00am and at at averge speed of 75 mph (it's a hemi dud* "john") high tailed it up here quicker than you can say i'm never late for happy hour. weather is most excellent, clear. no wind about h 62, l 38. balmy.
worked over the bay side cafe, which is just a short walk of about 100 yards. when i say "worked over", KT bar the door, i was fixing to go crazy, in a very polite kevin way. think chat it up w/ all the locals, got the gossip, met the entire staff including but limited to the owner dawn, britney, tyler, and yak, yak, yaked. severly over tipped after overstaying by at least two hours. hey i call it doing the research. now on sat. at 4pm when our group walks in, somedody will be screaming my name, and of couse some will run away, no matter, i'll lock the door, and rock the place till the police show up and then deny it all. plausable deniabilty. "wasn't me", and backed by the wait staff (that's the over tip part from the day B4)...
drifted back to camp(s), stole a mess /o wood, for a future fire, yak, yak, yaked for a while, sent out a bunch /o drunked emails as i'm prone to do, and well was kevin.
came back to the persian palace, redecorated, washed 'n waxed the floor, rearranged the closets (by color of smile pocket, in reverse order) and played on the net.
i'm thinking bed time now. say from 515am till 8:am and then walk around aimlessly for a good 2 hours (w/o coffee, milo) and just be overly annoying and maybe score some free food. so i got all that working.
further reports to follow.
some portions of this post omitted for brevity (i'm all about brevity now, it's my new thing)
anyway, have fun.
as always,
kevbo
ps my sign which changes daily reads "Have Fun While it's still legal". my vintage group wants me to write todays note to read "torque the moon fish", but as a cowboy, i'm not sure i know what that means. kevin

Awww...nothin' to fear. Just a friendly group who likes to talk, eat, drink, and enjoy camping. Just bring food. And in the case of 29 Palms...fire.
