Pam, we were getting worried, not hearing from you and Buster. Glad you can join the fun. We need a veteran sailer to help keep Henry in line.
BTW, got a close up look at Doug's tear drop recently. Really awesome, especially his art work.

Phil, no true southerner calls it "pop", so strike 1. We drink coke, or Cheerwine, sometimes Sundrop, never "pop'.
PS: I have plenty of socks, underwear, neck ties, and T shirts.......but never enough singlemalt.

Hey Nancy, it will be great to see you and Carl back again. We missed you guys last year. We count you as Charter member of this notorious group. Pretty sure you will enjoy the site change, unless you need the hustle and bustle of Charlotte, and a cell phone connection. It is off-grid down there.

Sailor -- landlubber mistake, no problem. Consider Henry handled......
I was thinking of bringing my teardrop. It's like a baby Airstream, makes my Bambi look huge, and it's skinned in aluminum. Of Course, what else...... Got another couple from NC to sign up I think they got site 43 if memory serves correctly. Told them how much fun they've been missing. I'll confirm on that and let you know.

I stand corrected
Thanks Pam for straightening me out. My dad was a Sailor, so my son (Jay&Phillip) is a son of a son of Sailor. Jimmy Buffet.
You gotta bring your new trailer, it is a one and only. An indoor waterfall, what more could you want??!!

Welcome Keith and Diane , we will try to live up to our bad reputation. If a fine time is the objective, then you are definately in the right place. We can just about guarentee it. Glad to have you.
OK Dave ole boy, no excuses: get a move on it, get your rear end buttoned up, a site nailed down, and be there.

Sugar Pie
Ok so now you stirred up one of the Yankees! Grandma would not be happy with the indiscretions towards us Northerners. But I'm up for a lesson if uns guys think you can educate us to speak Southernese. But in the meantime…try some of Grandma's sugar pie:

Roadrunner,
I don't remember Grandma's having eggs in it and I think this also points out how many Grandma's recipes exist for this pie. I remember it as a thrown together pie for kids (me mostly) that was made as a leftover crust user upper. I can always try to bake your version and see what I get.
Maybe you could chef up some scrapple or paunhaus for a try it if'n you dare for breakfast.
My Dad's roots are in Somerset County.

Hank,
Not sure I have primo recipies but I think introducing this versatile cooking tool is the big thing then let your tastes kick in and see what happens. We've done some real good roast beef meals in it, taters, onions gravy and slicing style beef. If things were getting tough, the biggest camp DO that I could carry would be a must have. Biggest thing to learn is temperature management. John is trying to get a massive egg dish added to the breakfast menu.
We've done stews, chili (no beans or beans) but using one of these to bake it is possibly the most unique use of one. Maggie will be teaching all of us about baking I hope.
Gary

We're close enough that I could bring our teardrop and our camper, if they'd let us put two on one site (they'd fit). I built ours to look like an Airstream Torpedo.
