How many propane detectors?
One, mounted down low is quite enough. Propane is heavier than air and a low-mounted detector will sense it properly. I only have one detector in my 22 footer. It’s mounted on the backside of the wheel well on the curbside aft.
Note that it does consume 12 volt power continuously and is a steady drain on your battery. More than one is pointless.
My carbon monoxide and smoke detector is mounted fairly high on the wall near the front bed area. Also only one is sufficient in a small Airstream.
