Propane leak aye... cooking breakfast... what a great cover story... I'll bet the last thing that was said before it blew was "hold my beer, honey, and watch this!"

The next time someone asks me why they should buy a Classic Airstream Motorhome, I will be sending them a link to those photos! Whoa! That would never happen with the frame of an Airstream MH. That would have blown all the windows out of an AS but at least the frame would be intact.
Hmmm the fact that it blew apart may have saved their lives.

About 2 months ago in a local town a SOB blew apart in the same way. They were getting ready to show it to a perspective buyer when it blew. The guy siad that all he did was connect the battery, and it blew. Earlier that morning he said that they cleaned it up a little and he turned the propane on. My guess is that the stove was turned on and when he connected the battery the automatic ignitor for the fridge sparked the explosion. It blew two of the walls completely off of the frame and the roof came off. The picture was great. The explosion even blew out a window of the business across the street. Neither he or his wife were seriously injured.
