There was definitely intra-model-year variability, but my money is on 2007. The biggest clue is the extent of the black overlay. With the 2007, it wraps right around the window level with no breaks except at the rear doors (Maggie's 2006 appears to break at the cab door frame as well). But you'll notice that even the rear door windows have black masks in that photo. Airstream seemed to pay increasing attention to that kind of paint continuity with each successive T1N year. Some of the earlier models have little or nothing in the way of black.

There are only two minor distinctions between that photo and our Interstate, which is also a 2007 garnet T1N. The owner (or Airstream?) appears to have added a reflective strip above the license plate; not sure why as the logical place (to me) is across the hitch span, which is where we added ours. Also, on the starboard rear door, that doesn't look like a conventional Airstream logo I see. Most of the 2007's which are NOT rear-door-spare-tire-mount models have the same black block lettering in that location as they do on the cab cap. For some reason the 2007's with door-mounted spares have different lettering, at least among those I've seen.

In NC I remember ice storms, downed tree limbs, and electricity out for days on end. That's why I moved to AZ 😀

Picture of our Interstate's windshield

A baseball-sized rock, which may have come from within the dual wheels of a semi hit the windshield and went over the top without additional damage. We're glad the Sprinter windshields have such a nice slope!

The four chips in my windshield all came from trucks near me. Some going the opposite direction, some going the same direction. On my first trip I had the driver's side headlight taken out by a flatbed 18-wheeler in front of me. I was on the Interstate in Ohio in right lane. The truck in front of me, about 200 feet, lost a piece of metal. I watched it bounce into the left lane hit a car and then bounce in my lane and hit me. Yikkes!! it was scary.

I get real nervous around any trucks larger than me.

That is beautiful.

Here's us, Devils Fork SP, in the Blue Ridge Mtns. near Salem, SC.

Ran my baby thru Blue Beacon yesterday, after a month in beach campgrounds....undercarriage wash, the full deal.

They do a really excellent job, at a very modest price.

Hi Maggie

Where do you find blue beacons and how much do they charge?

Down here in south Florida I haven't seen them nor anyone else to wash coach. (Except myself and a ladder)

There is an app, which I have and use, giving you locations and what is offered at each.

I found the one in Columbia early in this trip, planning to hit it after I left the beaches.

I paid $28.50 on Monday, I believe....that included the undercarriage wash, which all locations don't have, and the RainX. I asked them to do the roof, and they did.

My rig was so clean it squeaked when I touched it.

I think it is a very good deal, for a very good service.

I have paid between $35 and $40 to have both the AI and my toad washed. Out of the four times I have used them, only once did I have to wait in a line of three trucks ahead of me. Even then, I was out of there within an hour. While not comparing with my hand wash job at home, Blue Beacon is a fine alternative when you want to make your rig to look presentable without spending a lot of your valuable travel time.

I only wish there were more Blue Beacons especially along the West Coast. I've been known to drive way out of my way to use Blue Beacon instead of just "any" truck wash.
The Rain-X keeps my Interstate looking good for several weeks.
Maggie'-- that is the current price, just be sure they know it is a Sprinter not using the term "motor home". Motorhomes on their price list are more expensive.
