Ever use Velcro on walls?

In our new 28FB.
Idea came of taking advantage of wall space in bedroom by using adhesive velcro to hang a pouch we have- it's like a map pocket. Worried about sticking anything to walls. Would it damage the surface? Has anyone used similar adhesive hooks (like use at home for photos)? Thinking that it would make a good towel or shirt hanger while stationary.

I like Velcro. Very useful. The sticky might leave a residue but you could get it off I'm sure. Also..... http://www.airforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=170295

Thanks for the tip. The putty looks good. Expect it would come off easier. Trade off might be strength. I'll try it.

Velcro is definitely stronger, but I love that tak stuff it comes in handy all the time. Also those no-damage 3m hooks do come off without residue and they are real strong, I had a bunch of the fiberglass walls of my old trailer and they came right off when I sold it.

I just saw Command Velcro strips for hanging picture frames. Can you use Command products on inside aluminum?

My FC has a lot of 'Command' hooks all over the place, but not on the Aluminum. Why?
Because the walls are curved, and the hook backings are straight.

Velcro can be used on the aluminum per se, however............
The DHC-5 Buffalo aircraft uses it by the 'ton' for hanging padding and such. But......The aluminum structure is coated/protected by such treatments as: alodine, epoxy green primers, and then the Velcro is glued onto the frames using industrial strength contact cement; not the bare Aluminum.

I cannot advise you on using on bare Aluminum.

I haven't had any luck with Command Strips or anything close to non-permanent, but I think our walls might have residue on them (1973 original) that keeps anything from sticking. Heat and movement are not my friends and in Texas, there's no way of getting around either of those.

I use suction cup hooks on my 2017 FC aluminum walls. They come in all sizes and strengths up to a point (2-3 lbs). They come off easily and are easy to reposition if needed. Good luck.

Command Strips

We have had great success in using Command strips. We use the heavy duty version and double-up on the number per pound of weight we are hanging when we use them for pictures. We have also added a couple of hooks for towels, hats and clothes. We have even used, then removed the Command strips with no harm.

I have also used these. Works great and come right off by pulling the clear strip. I also used a piece for the sliding shower screen door which kept flying open.

That's such an obvious idea I didn't think of it!

Seems ideal for hanging a shirt or towel etc.

I love the suction cups but they do fall eventually, so don't hang anything breakable or heavy with em. I use one on the outside to hold the outdoor shower head up above me and that works great.
