Lightbulb Instructions on using Velcro to attach homemade curtains

I read a while back that one of you out there made your own curtains for your Airstream and used Velcro to attach them instead of drilling new holes.

I would love to get those instructions.

I think I saw on InlandRV's site that they have the correct replacment curtain side parts for the existing tracks.
The PO of our usnit put a set of rods up. Have not decided if they are staying or going.

I happen to be the wife of a velcro collector. I challenge anybody here to tell me they have more velcro than Mike has. A weird fetich. I discover unopened packages of velcro everywhere, every drawers,... I would guess he must have a few miles of that stuff by now,

Velcro is a great stuff. I can tell you it comes in every shape and form. Any color, width, length,... Home Depot and Lowes have big velcro displays. They make ties to keep your water hoses & electric cords coiled and hang them,........

Our experience with the glue on velcro is: pot luck. Some places it will fall off right away, even if you clean the surface real well. If exposed to the sun, the glued part won't hold. On the other end, we still have some very old patches still holding the curtains.
It does not cost much to try.

velcro

glue Velcro on with origional style Liquid-Nail Adhesive at any building supply store. Tape in place with masking tape and use the next day....other glues crap out for one reason or another. I use it in the sun on the Velcro on my truck's dash to hold CB radio and fuzz busters with no problem for more than a year or two.....geof
