Congratulations. I can only imagine your anticipation considering the decision and now, the wait. I know you will like it. It sounds like you have taken the issues bull by the horns and planned well.

Congratulations. We too recently ordered a 2013, expect delivery in April. I don't recall the tire upgrade option, was that a special order?

Yup, the anticipation is killing me. Can't wait to get it and start this new journey.

The tire upgrade is not on the option list but Airstream will do it. It seems to be about the same price as doing it on your own afterwards from other comments here. I'm already dealing with enough stuff with the trailer, new tow vehicle, etc. that I decided to have this just taken care of for me.

Here are a couple of pictures of the interior...I used FLOR carpet tiles -- silver with A/S blue edging, and you'll see that the curtains and valance boxes add some color. I spend too much time on this site and am constantly doing upgrades. Will be headed to Alumapalooza and if any of you fellow 28' Intl folks wanna meet up, that'd be cool! BTW, I am SERIOUSLY considering pulling out the L shape and installing two leather recliners (like the 30' model). If I do that, I may have ALL the upholstery done in the same leather. While I like the Ultra Leather (and my two basset hounds have been unable to damage it), I keep thinking about the SMELL of leather upholstery...

Here are a couple of shots. I am seriously considering pulling out the L seat and replacing it with a couple of leather recliners. If I do that, I will have to enclose the furnace, subwoofer, and HW heater which are underneath the side portion. The seat looks nice, but it is NOT all that comfortable. My two basset hounds like it. If I do this project I will probably have everything recovered in matching leather.

BAB, your 28 looks great! Really nice work, very classy.

I love the "L" lounge, one of my favorite features but can understand that it is not perfect for everyone.
