Have you seen this alternative? We are considering it once we get our TB.

Interesting.

Are you looking at the Enduro or the E-Go? Wondering what the differences are.

BTW, an inexpensive upgrade is to replace the Clarion speakers with a better brand. Plug and play.

I have that truck (2016 version), and it pulled our 23D like it wasn't there. With the 27FB, it's still pulling like there's nothing behind you. Best thing I ever did was sell the 1500 and go up to the 2500 HD.

You're going to love it.

I've seen several systems similar, but the price is a bit much. Fate actually intervened yesterday! We got a call from the storage facility and they had an opening in their larger pull-through areas. Not only are they 20-inches wider (actually measured), but 4 feet longer. The cost was the same, so for us it was a no-brainer. When the guy saw how tight we were in our old spot he was amazed we even got it into the spot (I'll admit even I was amazed we got it into that spot! we only had a couple of inches on both sides... There was no room for error. Talk about sweeting it out, trying to park your new 90K trailer for the first time, you don't want to ding it up!).

What Did You Get For Your Trailer Today?

I sent them an email asking which one I would need for a 27FB, providing them a link to the Airstream specifications page (they wanted the weight information).

Their response was:

Code:
Yes, you will certainly need the eGo200, 4-motor system and you will also require an upgraded tongue jack wheel. Our recommendation is the Fulton F200 tongue jack.
Please note that due to the weight of your trailer the turning circle will be diminished, however forward and backward movement including movement up slopes will be absolutely fine.
Here is a link to the Purpleline Products page with costs and two editorial page links / reviews from “Trailer Life” and “RV Life”.

$3,599.99 for the system they recommended.

http://www.purplelineusa.com/product...iler-mover.php

I have not done further research, yet. I would love to hear if anyone else has their products to learn more!

I have looked at this system which is common in Europe. There the tongue weight is about 150 lbs, so manoeuvring on soft ground or gravel is possible. With our North American tongue weights even a double jockey wheel on the jack would likely get stuck on anything it a solid surface.

Great deal on some OXO containers for the AS. We like these. $20 off the set at Costco , so they cost $60.

Just bought the same set. Loved the ones we bought earlier at $15 Each. Jumped on them when we saw this price.

Okay, here is my share of something I made to improve my counter space. I got the idea from Tiny House. The 25 is nearly perfect but it has little kitchen counter workspace and a smaller bathroom in the Safari rendition. I solved the bath issue by utilizing the hallway space with my “cheap parlor trick” and now here is my kitchen fix- a 27” wide counter for use while cooking that stores away when not in use.

Rod, I'm borrowing that idea. Mind saying, is that a piece of 1/4" birch ply with laminate glued on? Looks nice.

I knew someone would love this too. It is 1/2” birch plywood and cut in an odd shape to provide support from the handle and a piece in the wardrobe mounted as support and a piece of trim on the right wall. I stained and sealed it with poly spray. You can’t sit on it but it should be good for a bit of weight at least to put things while prepping on the real but meager counter of a 25’. I certainly did not mind anyone asking. I have learned so many things from people here.
