Installed the Fan-tastic fan upgrade kit (803359) that provides intake and exhaust capability on the front and rear fans. Took about 30 minutes total to install both upgrades. Well worth the effort.

I have been reading the thread for years now. Seems pretty obvious to me that our Airstream gets what it needs and wants. Some of us coddle it with frills because we love IT! My list of these gifts as I call them number in the double to triple digits. That's what keeps the economy churning!!

Wheel locks. While doing a wheel maintenance check, discovered a lug nut's chrome cover cap was bent. Been wanting to do this awhile, so I took advantage of the opportunity...told the wife about the "emergency".[emoji12]She said, "get thee to the auto store!" Bless her heart![emoji8]

You may be interested in a table top fire pit but the table needs an umbrella hole for the propane fitting and hose to fit through. Our state has a strict "open fire" season so this is our solution. We bought a wooden folding picnic table (overstock.com) that has an umbrella hole in it. Our fire pit is rectangular with glass fire rocks and glass sides but there are many other styles. The table can open up half way to create a "coffee table", set up the fire pit and we set up our chairs around it. It's a nice cozy way to enjoy the fire.

Thanks Rivet, I liked the concept but the "logs" just didn't do it. I had considered what you suggested but wanted something rustic and to cook with. I got it from "A" and returned . Might try another style. I chose the Fire in a Can due to popularity.

Installed our new Zarcor Solutions' CloZures shutter on the porthole window in the bedroom of our 27' FC fb. Already have two in the galley portholes. Love them for the esthetics and privacy.

Returned from factory with our warranty work completed and a few additions.

They manufactured an over head locker above the dinette, this is eight inches longer than the one above the galley.

Then had our wardrobe changed into a pantry by having shelves installed at different heights to fit various kitchen tools.

Also had one extra tube installed next to existing one so I could move extra sewer hose out of bumper storage.

All turned out great. Plus we spent a week in the terraport and did some sightseeing when we could.

These shutters are from the marine industry. We saw these being used in yachts. It's nice to have privacy without having to totally block the view when using the OceanAirs. We have twin beds and wife's side is next to porthole. She likes the privacy while lounging in bed, but still wants to have the upper window open and the OceanAir up. In the galley, we sometimes close just the bottom for privacy but we can still see outside. From the outside, the shutters fill the entire frame so you have total privacy with no gaps that the shades have. They do a good job blocking temperature transfer. Installed with included Velcro dots so you can remove them for cleaning. There's a plastic "button" in the middle that is used to slide back and forth. Total custom look. We really enjoy the investment.

Just installed a Vitrifrigo DP 2600 iac refrigerator and a Husky 5000# jack.
The refrigerator draws less than 1 amp. Amazing

is it possible to extend the rod for the scissor jack under the trailer? on our 2017 22FB, the end that you turn is 2 feet from the edge of the trailer. on some new 2018 models, I see that the jack point is right at the edge of the trailer side. thus no need to bend over and peek under the trailer to see where to poke the tool end. can it be retrofitted? if not what is the make model for the replacement scissor jack?

Those shutters look quite nifty! We spent a lot of money for shades we are not really thrilled with. Used for 5 years now but not worn out yet!
Thinking, thinking...

Yes they are. Packaged very well. They're delivered USPS priority, and we got them in 3 days to California. Didn't have to do any recommended trimming to install. We love them.
