The prices are 7kw @ $3000 , 10kw @
$3500.
Then there is a leasing contract?

Wonderful, epic thread! Great way to come up with more ways to increase the cost of Airstreaming! Many good ideas, though!

OK, installed a Fantastic Vent "Ultra Breeze" cover. It is big but has a purpose.

Those prices are only for the unit. You may need batteries, panels, etc.....

Our Airstream (2016 30' Serenity RB/Recliners) isn't built quite yet, but while we're waiting for it, we got it a TV:

Serenity 30RB/Recliners

@DHart

Good choice, but this is what you may wish to do to dress it up

Serenity Mods 05.10.15 by Tommie Lauer, on Flickr

This is what I got for my trailer today. Some additional adjusting will be done, but the first iteration seems to be successful.

Ron, Tommie, and Tater.. thanks for your kind remarks. GMC made the choice easy with the Denali HD, as we're coming from a Yukon Denali. My wife didn't mind switching to the truck, as we wouldn't have to give up any creature comforts in the trade. And, it's a good match for the 30+ foot Serenity.

Tommie... what was the motivation for the valences? Just to soften the interior a bit? I love those three Vista View windows over the dinette area in the 30' International. It feels so bright and spacious with that configuration. Add the light color cabinetry of the Serenity and the feel is clean and bright. Quite a post-modern design.

All metal valve stems and spin balance on all four trailer tires today. Also had them install a couple of replacement center caps that I have had for a while. The change was recommended by my tire monitor system maker.

One of the issues with a side wall which has a slight concave curve is the straight shade would leave a gap, through which outsiders could see in. SO, I decided to copy the look of the new Classic, and designed, then sewed up these. Horrible job, way too much work, but the end is nice. I will be sewing them into one piece, adding a short additional valance, maybe 3 inches across the top to bring them all together.

Then, cellular blinds to replace the shades. I like the softness the additional cloth gives to the interior.

Be well,

The countertop was $500! Pricey, but I love the look, I have the same tops in my house! Stainless goes with everything !

Woo hoo, nice truck, great countertops. I seem to be going backward again. I am "repurchasing" a microwave as the replacement I purchased a few years back is just not very good- uneven cooking, leaking door seal (steam), low power, etc. Most of the smaller micros are not very good compared to their big brothers. The issue is that in my kitchen configuration the microwave space is small. Nonetheless after careful hunting I believe I found "the one" that will be the perfect replacement- a Panasonic. Not only is it slightly larger inside but it has sensor cooking, is lighter and also has inverter technology that runs at different power levels versus just shutting on and off like most. It also has 250 more watts of power than the previous model at 950 watts. Interestingly when I looked up the power consumption my previous model drew 1000 watts to utilize 700 watts of cooking power. This one uses 1150 watts to produce 950 watts of cooking power. We had a large one for years and really liked it in the house. Hopefully the extra 2 inches in width and almost 2 inches in depth will work out ok.
