Bittersweet Farewell/Thanks - Selling our '08 23 FB Special Edition

I just wanted to post and thank everyone in this community for all of the support and information in the past years. It is with very mixed emotions that we have decided to sell our 2008 23FB SE due to health reasons.

We have so many very fond memories with our Airstream and will certainly miss it and the community we have found on this forum.

Thanks again to all of you and happy 'streaming. We will still look fondly at all of the airstreams we see on the road and in the campgrounds and we will miss ours a lot (nicknamed the "Peapod").

Here is a link to our classified ad in case anyone is interested in our baby... She went up for sale today.

Brian - We will definitely continue to follow the forum and check in once in a while. We are really going to miss all of the aspects of owning an airstream including the great folks on this forum. Your posts are always entertaining and quite valuable!

Bonginator,
That is a very clean trailer, just the right size. so nice inside.
I am sorry you have to sell it. I am even sorrier about the circumstance that forces you to sell, Peapod. It is so beautiful, I am sure it will sell quickly.

Best wishes to you and yours.

Thanks Dennis (Batman). I appreciate your thoughts. The good news is we have so many happy memories and that is what life is all about. I will always smile when I see an Airstream...

I am so sorry to hear you are selling Peapod. We also own a 2008 Safari SE 27FB with a kiwi interior whose name is Sweet Pea. I know you will fondly remember the times you spent traveling with your Airstream.

Best wishes,

Susan

We are not sure yet. (I love this truck...). Do you want me to let you know if we do decide to sell it?

I really like your trailer. I would be interested in it if I could sell my 2005 19' Bambi but I doubt you'll still have it by the time I'm ready to buy. Good Luck, Dan Regan

Thanks for all of the well wishes, everyone. Our Airstream sold yesterday to a very nice couple in CO. I will check in here periodically just to see what is trending in terms of topics. It's been a wonderful experience.

I told the new owners about this wonderful resource.
