hey Dennis, thanks. i don't do FB, See PM. I'd love to see some. Need to look at the map re emigrant. yearrrrss ago between college registration and start at SDSU, had 2+ weeks open. all my buddies bailed on our planned KM> Yo valley via Mary lake, TM and Vogelsang. i ended up solo, first night at brown bear pass. camped next to a loud riffle...didn't help. every twig that broke that night was a bear in my mind. Great sites at mary lake, benson and eventually Vogelsang lake. I'll look for a pic.

Seems we originally connected thru a Paso post. wife born grew up in PR. lived for 20 yrs in sonoma co, but out taste buds are in paso (lone madrone) and occasionally return tho from MO, it harder. thankfully wine club keeps us happy.

What a lovely trailer that you are selling. I can't believe you are not keeping it for awhile. My husband and I had a 1963 Globetrotter restored over the last 7 years in birch. We now use it traveling around New England. I was wondering if you could send more details about how the goucho turns into a queen size bed, since we are starting on project number two -a 1965 Tradewind. Good luck selling the beautiful lady.

Hi Dennis and Dale. Just a note to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at Convict Lake during the week of 5/20/13, and how much I appreciated Dennis' help with navigating the site move to #53. It was a choice site!

We had very nice hikes at Convict Lake, and over at Lake Mary. We also visited Hot Creek and hiked Lower Rock Creek trail.

Thanks for your hospitality. You are great hosts!

    Best regards, John and Jane

Thanks! Its the gift that keeps taking! It is hard to believe that it is 31 years old. I bought it...well "rescued" it about 4 years ago. It was a little rough, but had good bones.
I removed almost all of the interior, replaced two sections of rotted subfloor near the back bumper and installed engineered antique heart pine floors, travertine countertops, repainted the interior. I stripped and repolished the exterior an repainted the trim and stripe. It has come together really nice. I would call it a heavy face lift. finding and fixing all of the leaks has done wonders for the interior. We have really enjoyed having the Airstream, it really attracts attention wherever we go!

Maybe one day I cam make my way out to California! it is only 4" from Coastal Georgia on the map! haha!

Safe travels! keep the shiny side up!

    Casey
