With the 27 FB, the access to the only outside storage compartment is difficult. I saw a rig a few months ago with the strap set up but no-one was home to interview!
I wonder how to "dial-in" with the straps vs jacks since I roll @ 5.75 to 6" ???
Much Thanks.

My understanding is that the majority of folks that run with the Lippert straps vs. the jacks dial in their normal, steady-state WD and then make markings on the straps themselves such that its easier than "counting the clicks" of the ratchet type strap winch (which is the basic method, i.e. to count clicks).

I thought using these would be great idea mainly because of easier access to the storage compartment. I inquired about using them and was told the challenge is adjusting the receiver box. With the straps you cannot "push" the back of the hitch down thus raising the front of the receiver box. So I stayed with the towers.

Hans627,
That ability has been needed many times on uneven terrain before. Thanks for that insight.

I tried the straps and went back to the towers for just that reason.

Money Back Guarantee
New development at ProPride. They're even crazier than I thought. The return policy (which was already nearly perfect) has been upgraded: - 60 Days period to use the hitch; return it if you don't like it.
- 100% refund on hitch price.
- The 60-day clock starts upon installation, not delivery.
- They will refund shipping both ways.
This is truly a zero-risk evaluation period.
If you don't believe me, check out the video here:

"Hmmm, I wonder why they can do this???"

The unofficial pp users guide...
Probably because once you have towed with one, you won’t send it back! I flat won’t tow anything without one, now that I see the difference a ProPride makes.

Anyone interested in a gently used Pro Pride? I'm located in Gilbert, Az. It's served me well, just going a different direction. Thought I would try here before it goes on Craigslist. Feel free to call or text me 480-229-2696. Paid over 3k for it, I'll let it go for 1200 to someone in this group.
