Interior walls came apart

On our last trip to CO, NM and AZ this happened to our walls. sS has been at Airsteam DFW since mid October. AS agreed to repair under warranty even though our AS is out of warranty

We are to pick up the trailer this week. I have nothing but good to say about the new service manager, Grant.

I have a Flying Cloud 26U. We have had it three years. Our walls have seperated at the corner too. Do you know what Airstream did to repair it? I am considering several corner brackets. The Factory is booked until October, so I will have to tackle it myself. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Fred

Airstream DFW installed additional angle brackets at the corner. We have not been on a long trip since then due to COVID. Our annual trip to Ouray has been postponed this year until when or if things return to normal. We have gone to Ouray almost every year since 1978. Before the Airstream, we stayed in nearly every hotel/motel in town. Our favorite was the Ouray Chalet. Right in town and we could sit outside our door and watch the tourists go by. We made several trips 2-up on either our K1200RS or GS1200R. All the way from Southlake. When we were a little younger, we rode to Alaska and Nova Scotia from Southlake.

I am considering adding angle brackets. Your experience confirms my plan thank you for letting me know.

I had to look Ouray up on the internet. It looks like a great place to visit.

Safe travels.
