The Coyote critter is drinking red wine, any quality as long as it's not too oakey. If he has his choice, it's a petite sirah by Guenoc or Bogle, or whatever will entice the coyotess. If she has her own cordless drill and a can of Nuvite, she's a keeper.

Many have guessed Lead Zeppelin, but wrongly. Zeppelin, the rigid airship, and aluminum, our favorite material. Not that Lead Zeppelin doesn't have the creds, but even though I'm a fan of all things Woodstock, I'm really a folkie--Gorka, Wheeler, Prine, Carpenter, Kaplansky, Small, McNevin, Griffin, Larkin, McCarthy, Rogers, Eberhardt, Drake, Knopfler, Lightfoot, Morissey, Massingill, Petis, Wilcox, Chapman, Herdman, Mattea, O'Connor, Zeigler, the list goes on...

Metallic Window Film

I saw a mid 60's with metallic window film. Anyone know where I can get some?

By the way, I saw this window tint film in a paint store yesterday called Solar Stat. The bochure says "so easy to install you'll be an expert in no time at all". Comes in bronze, charcoal and patterns.

Just bought a 1982 Excella...most of the windows have this crystalization between the glass at the bottom of the window, and all look like they need sealing and glaze on exterior. Any ideas out there?

I think those crystals are dessicant to get the water vapor out of the air between the two glass panes. It should be there.

If you need to seal the outer glass to the frame and don't contemplate taking it apart, use a small bead of Vulkem.

RoxyCamper,

How are you doing on your windows? I finally got 200' of the "U-gasket", but I'm waiting on samples of the proper butyl. It appears that the gasket is only available in black...

I need 10- 15' of the U gasket for my wings. Emailed Andy and was told he doesn't have the U or butyl. I can reuse the U but any suggestions about what to use to maintain the space between the panes.

Called the mothership. They don't sell the gaskets only the whole window. They also said you cannot take double pane windows apart and reassemble them because they are hermetically sealed with nitrogen and you will have condensation problems?????. Andy advised me to go ahead and clean and reassemble.

As I said, I've got the "U" gasket. Glad to sell pieces to members. I'm waiting on the butyl. I found the right stuff (Tremco Polyshim II butyl tape). You can see the whole monte in this thread

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f454...ilm-37422.html

the butyl tape is described here

Architectural Butyl Tapes

I'm just waiting to get samples to make sure I know which thickness is correct, before I have to make the minimum order of 20 rolls from CRL.
