shower repair

Hello,
I have just purchases a used 2007 Airstream 34' which has a small hole in the bottom surface of the shower. Is there a substance that could be applied to the hole to repair the plastic? Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Try Marine-Tek from a boat supply place (or Amazon). It's a white epoxy for marine use, so should work for your shower.

There's also a shower repair kit by 3M. I've used this to successfully patch golf ball-sized holes in a fiberglass shower surround.

I've done fiberglass repair on boats, Marine Tex has no structural matrix, more like bondo, automotive plastic body filler.
I have repaired a hole in a fiberglass sink/countertop with fiberglass/resin.
I layered the underside for a base, then filled in the hole from the top. This kind of repair won't punch thru, like a plastic scab.

Do you know if the shower is plastic vs. fiberglass?

My 2013 25FB has a fiberglass shower. The sidewall was damaged when drilling into the adjoining wall to mount a solar power control panel. I repaired the small crack with a fiberglass repair kit I got at home depot. The product is "Aquatic Tub & Shower Repair Kit". This worked well, though the Aquatic version of "white" is grayer than the bright white of our shower.

I have also used this product to fill screw holes in my fiberglass Scamp when I replaced the taillight fixtures.

The Aquatic product is just an epoxy type product; it does not contain any fiberglass strands.

It looks like your hole is bigger than the one I had. How wide is it? Does it go all the way through? For a hole bigger than maybe 1/4 or 1/3 of an inch, I would want to use something more than just epoxy. Since it is on the floor, it has to be strong enough for someone to stand on.

shower fix

The hole appears to be a superficial hole; there is material beneath an outer covering. It is about 1/2" in diameter.
