Pantry Door
We have a 2016 Eddie Bauer 27' with a galley pantry that is filled with shelves. The pantry does not have the microwave built into it---we have the convection stove and microwave under the stove top. We are on a trip--only our second trip with the unit--and the second night out the pantry slid out during travel ending up on the floor. The 2 drawer slides holding the pantry were damaged and screws were out of both the bottom base of the slides and the part of the slides that attach to the sliding pantry shelf unit. Screws had pulled out of the mdf wood. I discovered that the bottom pantry latch had not been installed so I installed it and replaced the screws with thicker and longer screws. The next leg of the trip the same general thing happened although the the pantry did not come completely out and end up on the floor. It had opened during travel and the screws from the slides on the underside of the pantry unit had pulled out. Anyone else with this issue and or a solution? Thanks.
