Furnace Question

Hello Everyone,
Wow...what a day we just had.
Drove from Moab towards Zion. Well, we didn't quite make it.
Thought that it would be nice to drive the #24/12 Scenic Route. Ya...should have checked the weather forecast a little better.
Snow, and lots of it!!!
We made it through to almost Carmel Junction, but decided that we had had enough excitement for one day!
Staying at Bauer's RV Park in Glendale UT.
Thank goodness that they answered the phone. And were nice enough to let us set up.
So, I have a question regarding the furness.
It seems to be blowing as much cold are from the ceiling vents as it does the floor vents for the first hour or so that we have been turning it on the past couple nights.
I have the thermostat set on 'auto' and the temp at 22C.
It seems that once the trailer gets up to about 19 degrees, it runs just fine. But it takes about 2 hours for it to get up to that temperature.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

Take a look at the size of your furnace. My 1986 has a 30,000 BTU size. Seems OK in our 50-55F weather. Your temps are much lower and would take twice the run time to get the job done. That is likely what you are seeing.

You can search on you furnace brand and check out the efficiency specification, they are all not very good compared to a home unit.
