I am new to this group, full timing and Airstreams. My plan is to travel the U.S. and Canada participating in different cycling events - including the long distance events sponsored by RUSA - and have a good time. Since I'm single, I have all the time in the world and look forward to being on my own schedule for a change!

Right now I'm in B.C., Canada, will stay up here for another month, and head back to Florida to spend Christmas and the winter months with family and friends. Outside of a stop in Pittsburgh to see my daughter, and possibly N.C., I have no plans and plenty of time.

Any suggestions on fun things to do, greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Forums Peter! Things to do between B.C. & Gainesville? Well ... Wholey's Fish Market in Pittsburgh for a good quick lunch along the way would be an idea -- and a visit to Harmony, home of a former utopian community north of Pittsburgh. Everything else between BC & Florida is fair game.

You found a great community on the web -- full of information and helpful folks. How could you not? (pulling such a fine Airstream -- great taste BTW!)
