My wife and I purchased a 1973 at the end of last month. We have spent the last few weeks cleaning and familrizing ourselves with the trailer. We took it out last week and found it much more pleasurable than what we have had it the past. When we got married in 1973 we had a pickup with a half overhead camper. When you are young and flexable those work well but after the kids came along we upgraded to a 1973 Volkswagon Camper Van. That later was traded for a 1973 Open Road Camper Van which we are now using to tow the Airstream. We expect to have lots of fond memories and now are ready for Grandkids when the come.
Welcome to the forums TravelKing! It's great to see a vintage unit pulled by the same year tow vehicle. All I need is an 84 to pull behind my MOHO.
We'd love to see the pictures of your new unit and to hear what model and condition you found it in.
