Smile Happy to be a family member!

Hi everyone, we are new owners of a B190 camper van, after looking at many different vans to try and suit our needs. We like to go to out of the way and off the beaten trails to camp, hike, and especially Kayak, so we needed one vehicle rather than a tow vehicle and a trailer for our needs. We read the many threads in various postings and when we found our van we snapped it up and are very happy with the decision. As new members of the family and community, we are looking forward to future meetings and new friendships.

Introduction

We actually went to Southern Utah and Nevada for a few days just to get away and to get a feel for things as far as the van is concerned. Being newbies to any kind of R.V. other than our tent or other van, we enjoyed being out but have a few questions as we didn't get an operators manual so it's a matter of doing and asking questions. We plan on going to N.Calif to pick up an uncle (92yrs young) and will have my mother (89yrs) along and then head to Wash. state so that they can visit with another brother (86 yrs) before they all pass on so we are planning for this to be in late April or early May. By then we hope to have our questions answered and be comfortable and at home in the Van for the trip. Luckily for us most of the driving will be one day trips to each location, albiet a long day but what the heck did we buy the van for if not for something like that.

Casini Ranch

Check your schedule for end of April...NorCal group is having a rally at Casini Ranch in Duncans Mills,CA on the Russian River. I believe April 27-29th and afew going a day or two earlier and/or staying another day later...You can have so many questions answered while having mucho fun! It might just be on your way before picking up your clan!
