Glad that you had a good time at the Rivettes' rally, Ryan! Sorry Lou missed it. But the "other" Lou had a great time! We hope that you will be able to join us all again at the next get together. Sometimes we just toss out a date and a place where we are going and a few folks join us....doesn't have to be a big whoop-tee-doo party....but it usually turns into a great time and lots of good food!

It amazes me that U would pass (by 6 miles ) a nice breakfast ,with wonderful people, on a beautiful site and a sunshiny Sunday morning.What seems to be your problem? We had such a great time and U missed it. Sometimes U need to STOP and smell the Coffee,and it was good too.
Maybe next time U will start earlier .

I wasn't even a third of the way to where I had to be by that afternoon. When I am towing alone, I just go. I try to put as much concrete between me and where I started from that morning.
The brand new truck towed awesome. Like it wasn't even back there.
I am now sitting south of Nashville and loving every minute of it!
in the thread somewhere. Did Lou take the poll? Is it KC or Walnut Hills? Is gthere a definitive date? If so, I need to get this on my calendar and see if I can defend the date. I never know for sure where I'll be until a week or so in advance, but I'm definitely gonna' try to get there.
Lou: I went to my first rally there at Grand Lake / St. Mary's and brought along my sort of "camping" food - a couple of hardboiled eggs, some Fritos and a beer or two. But these folks just stuffed me full of quesadillas, margaritas, and a lot of other delicious things! Next time, I'll be more like a Boy Scout and will "be prepared"!!!! Too bad you "cruised past" on your way to your camping / teaching / vacationing adventure in Tennessee!

Been working on the 25 footer all weekend.
Got new tires and I painted the wheels up so they look nice a purty behind the wheel covers.
I pressure washed it too. It looks all nice and shiny now!
Lord willing and the creek don't rise, I will be pulling out of here next Saturday night around 9 p.m. or so. I like to tow at night, fewer cars and semis.
I should be pulling into the campground down there, south of Nashville sometime around 8 a.m.
I will be posting the campground poll this week. I will post a link to it in this thread.
