Anyone have a report on the fires? I saw a photo in my paper of a man walking his dog in Albuquerque (city) and the skyline was barely visible.

I don't know about ABQ, but the visibility up here in the Colorado Springs area is pretty bad. We can even smell smoke now and then.

I'm sitting here looking out my window to the west - its not too bad in the morning - last night was awful - there is a 193,000 acre fire on the Az/Nm border. They are saying it should clear up by Thurs as the direction of winds change - so we should be ok - cross fingers

AHHHH, We made it to Bluewater Lake, got in some fishing before the sky went dark...smoke and crud in the air was pretty bad. Off to Chaco, (do NOT take the 57 in there or the road out for that matter).
Today were in Santa Fe for repairs and some pool noodle time and enchiladas. Carvan with a 70 GT from NM for few miles of the 550, HOWDY! Smoke is just minor dirift this AM.

Jim and I arrived here at Enchanted Trails on Tuesday afternoon. Sweet little Route 66 campground! Yes, we had a red/orange sun going down last night due to the fires. But this morning (Wednesday) there are blue skies. Folks in the hot tub last night (don't forget your suits!). Safe travels and see you soon!

We're in Santa Fe this morning and the smoke isn't so bad today. We'll head for Enchanted Trails today after a visit to Las Golondrinas near by.

We've welcomed a total of 6 rigs so far to Enchanted Trails. The skies are a perfect Albuquerque Blue, the winds are keeping us cool, and no smokey smell all day. Where are YOU spending your weekend?

Boy, I wish we could come on down! Not a lot of maintenance to do at this point, but it would be nice to be among friends! (Oh, well, we're catching a couple of rigs on the rebound from the rally, so at least we'll be able to get reports.)

Come on down Lynn! We don't have any maintenance to do either...just time to hang out for a change! Last time we were there, Birdy was still a work in progress - now it's time to share what can be achieved by a couple of DIY'rs with a whole bunch of hours!

Well I'm sitting on the Tarmac because of some severe T storms in the Chicago area that have grounded planes for a while now. So... Not sure when I'll be in. Someday eventually~ with any (good) luck!
