8:00 party will allow everyone to be together as I arrive. As I’m new to towing, I hope you ever is next to me puts out cones or something!

I am not 100% sure at this time but the chances are pretty good that I will be able to borrow the projector from work and present Drive In movies at the rally.

So if anyone has DVDs that we could project on the big screen bring them along. The movie selection will be by popular demand.

Remember that this is a family event, there will be small childern present so nothing inapporiate for our younger campers.

Already this thread is the 7th largest ever on AirForums and I suspect it will be #6 before the night is over. Currently #6? Last years Metro Detroit Rally Thread at 1039 replies: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f288...6-a-22539.html

But you guys have outdone youselves. Last years thread took 377 days to get to 1000 replies. This years thread only took 67 days! You guys need to get a life! Please see if you can find it before this years rally begins. I don't want to help anyone look for theirs as it is taking up all my time looking for mine.

And since I am here typing away, Lorrie and I would rather spend our time with all of you rather that over at the Pig Roast, so count us as two "no's" for the Pig Roast, but two "yes's" for the Weenie Roast.

I don't believe we have a volunteer for hot dog buns for Friday night yet, do we? If not, I'll step up and bring 'em. Any idea how many I need to bring?

As for a Friday evening meet & greet and trailer backing exhibition, that is fine by us.

My head is spinning. I've read through the past twenty-zillion posts and I still don't have a clue what the heck I need to bring for the potluck!

Oh, and what did I read about a Friday night weenie roast, and a breakfast potluck?

Can someone please tell me what to bring? Please???

I didn't realize these rallies could be so stressful..........

Potluck, weenie roast, breakfast together! Sounds great! Don't stress! It's easy! Bring whatever you would like to bring...and then just share. At the Northern Ohio rally a week ago, we had the most awesome omelette you ever saw! Everyone chipped in with ingredients they had....24 eggs, 2# sausage, onions, peppers, celery, tomaotes, cheese. Kind of like stone soup...but a breakfast selection! It was great and ended up feeding about 10 of us I think.

We will probably bring Apple Baked Beans for the potluck and also some bowzers, buns and sweet relish for the wienie roast Fri. night

After a worrisome night (not really, I'm not that pathetic) I've decided to bring BBQ beef sandwiches and buns.

We'll also bring dogs & buns/condiments for the weenie roast on Friday.

At 8 p.m. I am planning on doing a welcoming ceremony. Nothing fancy, just me hamming it up and telling everyone how great I am!

I think we should do a closing ceremony on Sunday too. Something to just acknowledge everyone.

I have towed Airstreams and Argosys since I was 16. I STILL have trouble backing them up! This is why I am arriving REALLY early on Thursday morning!

No one to watch me back up! Except Harold and he will never tell on me!

Anyone seen Ghostrider yet? It is not really a movie for young audiences but it would be great to watch once the little ones are in bed.
I have a bunch of other movies too!
