My AI as Robert Frost would have seen it through the upstairs window of his farmhouse in Derry, NH.

"I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."

Love that!

The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

I just returned, not an hour ago, from the Frost farm again this morning... and took that path Frost wrote of. I thought that was pretty cool.

We received our first pics of our property in Nova Scotia late yesterday. The area is still without services and AFAIK, the closest village still does not have electric power restored.

Here you see come into full flower one of the intentions behind getting a teched-out camper van rather than a cottage. We have a property in Houston and a property on the extreme eastern side of Cape Breton Island. Not only are we GOING to get hit with hurricanes, what doesn't hit one tends to hit the other, so we get about twice the impacts of any given single-property owner in higher-risk areas. The camper van can be driven out of harm's way, no matter where it happens to be at the time.

What in the bloody name of Sam Houston is this new practice of re-naming hurricanes as "post-tropical storms" once they pass certain northern latitudes?!

For God's sake, this thing hit Nova Scotia with 90-mph sustained winds! That's not a storm - it's a *HURRICANE*! That's NOT ONLY a hurricane, it's a powerful one. Re-classifying it as any kind of "storm" is only going to degrade public perception of the dangers.

Anyway, we will clean this mess up - it's not a big deal. A lot of trees came down all over the place, but we have thousands more. If I'd had a crystal ball, I would have left our chain saw with my father so that I could fly up a time or two before our next road trip, to get the jump on clearing the road and pad so that we can drive in upon our next arrival.

For comparison, I tried to place my Dad's downed tree photos in approximately the same orientation as the "last day" trip photos I had taken two weeks before:

You have the right idea! That's a PERFECT travel setup!

We had a 34' tri-axle, two-door Limited for several years. The couple we bought it from towed it with a B-190. I'd wished I'd gotten photos of them meeting us when we bought it.

Excursion & Airstream 34 Limiteds by Roger H, on Flickr

After I got tired of working on Airstreams (after twenty years of them) and sold the 34' tri-axle, I bought a Bigfoot 25 and towed it with a Born Free 23RK.
