Hitch-mounted mud flaps?

Just got a new TV, a 2018 GMC Sierra for my 23CB. Have a couple of long pulls coming up this summer, including two-lane highways and gravel roads. Should I invest in mud flaps? Truck currently has none on rear. Bolt on? Hitch-mounted?

WeatherTech no-drill mudflaps all around AND rock tamers work well for me.

I tried the Weathertech mudflaps and then ordered the Duraflaps, which are also a no drill option. I ordered the long version and they are great. I did not think the Weathertech mudflaps offered nearly as much protection as the Duraflaps. Before this we had the Rocktamers, which worked very well, but I go tired of taking them off every time I took the hitch off.
No dents on any of our trailers so far.
Each to his own.

Rick

I like my Rock Tamers. I've had them 5 years and 30,000 miles. They are mounted to the ProPride "stinger" that fits in the truck's receiver. I don't take the Rock Tamers off. I use them as a handle to carry the whole stinger assembly around. I lay the assembly along side of the trailer when camped somewhere.

DuraFlaps all around, and Rock Tamers for western trips. Love them.
