These people who can decorate their trailer with a 'theme' amaze me. I'm lucky to just keep mine relatively clean, stocked, and functional

Cool toilet, but I wonder how much weight all that other junk, er, stuff adds to the trailer? Including rear bumper rack.

Dave, they must have removed weight by other means. It looks like reducing skin thickness with wet-or-dry sandpaper was one method. Aarghh!

cool trailer, but i like the shiny skins on trailers. maybe some people prefer the really dull look. i do love the inside, but i must agree, it is too bad that the owner didn't spend his time and money on finding and using the real vintage stuff used during this time. i can't say i wouldn't give it a home, though. although, at $25,000.00 nobody is giving anything away. that's pretty steep!

"it has been chemically stripped and acid washed to give it the raw aluminum look we were after"
In other words--we screwed it up and now it's avant-garde art (marketing WORKS!).

And it only costs $25,000. A Texas sized price, too.

That is truly Kevbo's style but I didn't see any cases of Coors or any feed and tack signs.

The outside is pretty nice, compared to the Zenstream of a few years ago.

Lonestarstruck
My mom's not a Daughter of the Texas Republic for nuttin'. That flag awning is installed upside down -- the international distress signal last I heard. At least there are no longhorn steer horns on the front of the thang. Don't they know that Matthew McConaughey has all the Airstreams he wants?
Something this vintage could have sealant breakdown on the segments. Acid wash? Make that does have sealant breakdown on the segments. Now that all the work is "done" I'd wonder what the current owner's observations on water leaks might be?

The pictures don't show an A/C. Does this mean they're trying to penalize the buyer for a bad A/C decision? C'mon -- sell the other A/C and take the hit. Sure hope they aren't putting in a window unit.
It's not out of the question that the seller looks in here. Of course there are no bids! They could learn some things before relisting this non-proposition in the future. Sounds like a case for ASL's 'eBay Watch' column.

looks they aren't kidding about the "ton" of "memrobilia", and there's at least $25k just in upholstery tacks - I'd say it's a bargain! Kind of surprised, though, that the awning can support even it's own weight. I'll keep my zip-dee, thankyou. That said, I do like the artistic statement- stuff like this makes life more fun! Good luck to the seller, and the buyer!

Well, I think it's cool...
Absolutely not my taste, but very cool and well done. Just because the seller isn't a member of the Forums doesn't mean they can't do something unique and creative, so why snipe? Those enamel ware cowboy dishes are really cool and I think the whole thing is worth what they're asking.

Okay, right. I must not have had my magnifiers on but that's a cheap Mexican knock-off from a standard bull. Kinda reminds me of Crocodile Dundee in NYC telling the punks, "Now this is a knife." Now this is a Texas Longhorn -- scroll to the bottom of the page.
I think it is necessary to respect an eBay seller as a potential member here. That being said, this had better be an extremely sound Airstream for the asking price. The seller hasn't made any declarations in that regard and leak integrity could be an issue. The decor job took some thinking through, is kinda cool, but isn't singularly unique or unattainable by others. It doesn't add $20,000 all by itself -- an opinion that should be measured against success of the sale. So stay tuned.

The second one has the same exterior finish, with no mention of the "special acid-washed" look.
