Airstream or not? Please help IDENTIFY!
Hello all! I have an "Airstream" trailer sitting in my corprate office that I'm reponsible for restoring. I've been hitting the vintage archives but can't find the trailer! I've looked for the ID tag but can't find one. I'm wondering if it's even an Airstream at all. I've attached some pictures to help...sorry I can't get the full view of it...it's blocked off. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Wow! It looks like an Airstream that someone has added a "woody" type panels too. Very unique. I'm no expert, but I'm sure someone on the forums will have an answer for you. It's very cool looking .

It is a heavily modified Airstream. Possibly just end segments from a wreck that someone very creatively integrated into a circa 1953 "Woodie" station wagon.
That "woodie" look isn't anything close to a factory job. I think I've seen it before on a vintage Airstream site, listed with several other "Airstream Oddities".

Its definately an Airstream with the five end cap segments, its more than likely a late '60s model. The should be a serial number stampoed on the A frame on the entry door side just before the C channel goes into the body.

I just saw the trailer in the "Misc" section....looks EXCACTY like it...I'm thinking it's maybe a 1966 Tradewind...not sure though.
It's a really nice trailer...can't wait to get it re-done.

The trailer is owned by my company. I've been contacting a few people to restore it...the one's you mentioned. It's going to be used to promote a brand of men's beauty products we have.
I will post more pictures as soon as they become available. Thanks everyone!

I love this line in your ads on the site: "Cruelty-free, we only test in barbershops on celebrities, athletes and politicians". Gotta love it!
You've got a really unique Airstream there. Keep us up to date on the refurb. We love to see 'em come together.

Termite Inspection??? I Knew You Could! Be sure to have all the wood inspected and professionally restored and sealed! Quite a nice "Woody". Happy Trails, Ed

Wow, that's really unique. Neat idea, I wonder how long ago that was done?

I agree it's an Airstream that someone added on the woody paneling. The ID tag is usually located forward of the door and under the window which would put it under the paneling.
How about some interior shots?
