Hahah. Yeah, I have the truck too. Just not my TV anymore. This is the ONE thing I forgot to account for in the "upgrade" equation. I'm thinking my solution is properly spaced roof racks, a packing blanket and tie down straps.

Hi, sorry, but I can't help you. In eleven years of Airstreaming, I have never needed, used, or wanted a portable waste tank. This is one of the things on my list of things to never buy/use.

But Bob, think of all the nice people you'd meet while performing that chore!
I call the tank emptying "the campers walk of shame"... It's entertaining to watch people's expressions as they perform the task.

I have a blue boy that I only use for grey water only. It has a metal tool that fits over my hitch ball as long as I don't go faster than 25 or 30 through the campground, it works fine.

Oh yeah... it's disgusting. Dumping from the RV tank direct to the sewer is a walk in the park. Having to come into contact with it twice... no good. Especially when you try to rinse and end up over flowing. There's just no choice at this location unfortunately.

I am currently in Key West at the Navy dry camping site. Approx 40 trailers here, most are long term basically homesteading. Also most are very large MOHOs and oversized 5th wheels. I am one of the few that does have and use a blue boy type exterior tank. I did have and use one when I had my Bambi II. Simple reason it had no gray tank. For some stupid reason I let it go with the Bambi when I sold it.
