I need help, grateful in advance for anyone who can share some measurements. I am currently shopping for a trailer, for purposes of this "ask" I would like to see specifics on a 25' to 27' Flying Cloud, 2016 or newer. I have an overhang on my house, and am in need of some dimensions up the "curve" on the profile of an airstream, to help me determine if I have enough room on the side of my house to park/store the trailer. The lot line factored in with the overhang makes it a very close call, so I need to "squeeze" a little of the trailer under my overhang, if at all possible. I attach a picture I extracted from Airstream published data, I approximated my request area to be through the centerline of the right rear tail light, because that appears to align with the spot where the awning secures to the roofline. I am grateful for anyone who can help me.

Also, please be sure you tell me if your trailer has been "lifted", it will be tight enough that I will have to factor that in (my overhang is about 7' 6" above driveway level. Using this photo as a frame of reference, my house would be on the right side (door side)

Danger Will Robinson Danger!
Putting the rear end cap in the vicinity of your garages soffit is a fatal recipe for damage. As you say "I need to "squeeze" a little of the trailer under my overhang, if at all possible. Yikes. You will most certainly miss park one afternoon and put a 5ft wide 'crease' into the back of your trailer cap. I don't have a picture of how ugly that looks but I do have an invoice for it..$4,468.98 here in TX to replace those 3 panels you are eventually going to dent if you continue down this trail.
Suggest you find a safer storage option. Oh yea...they will probably leak after repacement.

Same risk, but for me it’s not the end cap, it would be the majority of the door side I was hoping to find a way to fit, but it seems this is probably not the way to go. Means I would need to pay for a storage spot somewhere ....

Sounds like you answered your own question. One mishap will cost you thousands of dollars in damage. I'd opt for outside storage.

1StreamDream, I did the best I could to replicate your situation using an 8’ piece of lumber marked up starting at 7’ for reference.

This is from our 27’ GT, not lifted along side our garage. We poured a 10’ concrete pad to park our trailer. We’re lucky that in our city you can go right up to the lot line. It’s a tight fit but if I keep it tight to the edge I can still open the door and squeeze in when the trailer is backed in all the way. We’ve got it pulled forward now so we can pack up for a trip in two weeks.

We squeezed in an older trailer through a tight gate, under eaves and near a fence for years. It was time consuming and scary! We could do it -12" of space total to get through the gate (that's 6 inches on a side and NO room for error), perfectly lined up there was 1-2" between the trailer roof and the eaves. Then you had to be sure it was straight to avoid damaging the garage eaves or the trailer roof. Parking or unparking required at least 2 spotters (one on either side and a view of the roof), a long time and usually quite a bit of yelling. More than once, the plastic fenders on the trailer needed to be hand bent to get through the gate, or the plastic gutters on the trailer scraped the eaves and everyone wound up totally spent when we finally got it in or out.

Our Airstream would fit...probably. However, life is too short and we are too old to enjoy the tension and hours necessary to get that sucker parked in the same place. Three cheers for a nice wide opened concierge facility! Not only do they park it, they will do whatever we need before we go...turn on the refrigerator, fill the propane and water, clean and polish it. And, everytime we get it there is a sigh of relief knowing that we don't have to mess trying to squeeze it in...well worth the price to us.
