I don't know, I guess you pick your battles.
The fact that the floor flexes enough in such a small area, it causes enough rub to squeak. You then apply silicone to hide the squeak, but not fix the flexing.
Makes me think, "hey, that's a big dent in your car" "nah, it's not that bad if you don't look at it"
Is the problem the noise or is it that something isn't secured properly or has been stripped out?

My 2016 squeaks in exactly the same place. The floor definitely has give to it in the middle of the hallway. It feels like one piece of flooring doesn't have any support under it where it's supposed to. It's making me crazy (OCD). It's going back to the dealer to fix along with the bathroom sink that keeps falling out.

We were just at the factory getting our floor "squeak" in the hallway fixed. The belly pan had to be removed and the floor joint braced. Is very solid now, the joint used to flex considerably.

Our 2017 Classic 30' Twin has the squeaking floor at the transition between the hall way and the bedroom. Apparently this is a common problem with this model/year. We took ours to JC in August this year for our last chance at warranty repairs and this was one of our items. It took them 1-2 days for the repair which meant the first night was in a hotel! Anyway they seem to have performed a good repair as the squeak is gone. Personally, I would not consider letting anyone but the factory perform this repair. Best regards.

I had the same issue with my 2017 Classic. The factory did exactly what was described in this thread and the problem was resolved. The dealers are great for many smaller issues but this one should be done without question by the factory.

Ditto...same issue, exact same place. JC did my repair as well. Apparently, it is fairly extensive.

Ours has not squeaked but does move and sag a bit, but too late for us.
I won't pay to have this fixed, if it becomes a real pain I might cut threw the floor cover and fix it that way or try to as the covering is great and goes back together nicely, don't ask how I know.

Before towing back to JC, try adjusting the rear stabilizers. If I set mine too hard (run them until they stop, then another bump) my floor will squeak. Relieving a bit of tension on the rear stabilizer works for me. This is after the SLC Dealer removed the belly pan and shot glue between the frame and floor.

When my 2016 28 ft Flying Cloud was under warrantee, I took it to JC because the floor on the street side next to the bed we soft and squeaked. They told me that it could not be fixed and told me that if it gets worse, it would be repaired under warrantee for as long as I own it. So we wait and hope.

Hi
I can tell how the rear stabilizer is set by the "soft feel" of the hall by the bath. I have to be in bare feet to notice it. I have yet to find a setting that results in a squeak.

I will refrain from answering this thread so I might not get booted from the forum today. Except to say it will always be something......

Not necessarily a problem…
We have found that proper leveling eliminates the squeak.
As I type, our rig (flying Cloud 25FB) is parked on uneven ground and the stabilizers are up. The floor squeaks remarkably in the front between the 2 twin beds.
When we park at the campground in about 4 hours we will be diligence about leveling and deploying stabilization arms.
This has always worked for us.

Hi
Actually I lied ...
If the stabilizers are *not* down and you step right *there* by the bath you now get a squeak.

2019 23ft International Serenity squeaky floor in front of bathroom fix by AS dealer Las Vegas by dropping water tank silicon and wedges. Didn’t stay fixed. How AsDealer wants $1000. to repair. I’m ready to cut back vinyl flooring and screw flooring to frame. Any suggestions ?

I can't feel any moisture on the Flooring itself.
Is it a possible moisture issue underneath, bad fabrication, or other?
Any ideas, or experiences here? We're kinda bummed out right now, as we love this trailer!
Thanks, Paul and Nancy

Paul, I have a 2017 Classic twin that I purchased in December 2017. Apparently, it was a common problem that year and prior. Fortunately, mine was still in warranty when I purchased although is was used. After researching the problem, I decided to take my unit up to Jackson Center. I was glad that I did since it turned out to be a big deal to fix correctly. It took them two days to fix. I won’t go any further but will gladly talk to you over the phone. Also, I documented the issue on this forum back in the summer of 2018 so you may want to look for it. Good luck and best regards. Ray

I had the same squeak between the shower and bathroom on my 2016 27FB. The dealer had to drop the pan and tanks and shim and calk the floor from below. They said it was a common problem in this vintage of AS and was NOT caused by water. It was all dry as a bone.
$1000 and all is good.
