The P-Town Rally is held at the Coastal Acres Campground right in p-town., It is a 10 - 15 walk to commercial street where everything happens. On the Saturday night there is a dinner held in the big tent either lobster, chicken, ribs and clam chower or clams....... Happy Hours of course and alot of us hit the T-Dance at the Boat Slip All in all it's a great rally. It falls on Canadian Thanksgiving and Columbus Day weekend. It is a great way to spend 4-5 days in P-Town at a very resonable price... The Rally info is located in the region 1 event schedule in June 2011 Blue Beret. Hope to maybe see some of you there!

Just sent in our application-- we are not yet WBCCI members-- any advise on which one to join? Looking forward to meeting other "Friends of Dorothy" at the rally and for future caravans. We are two fun, fabulous women in our 40's who just purchased an airstream motorhome to follow our dreams. We travel with a toy fox terrier (aka Lulu) and a larger mutt (Sawyer)

Has there been anymore discussion on the next FOD Rally? If nothing for rest of 2011, would really LOVE to hear about anything happening in 2012.

I think the last dicussion I recall seeing indicated the next one (as a follow up to the Arkansas Rally) would be sometime early spring 2012. I think there was also discussion about having it a little further south in Arkansas.

I'm thinking about Hot Springs AR in the Spring before the heat comes in. What do you all think? I'd like to make it easier on those of you who attended this year. It shaves off a few hours for the Texas people.

but Greenovators and Briboy would still have a long haul. I'm open to suggestions so if anyone has a place in mind please let me know. The first rally had so many great people attend, Zell and I would like to see you all next year! Once we get it figured out I will start a new rally thread.

Please, keep me posted. 'Prime-Time' vacation picks start 1st of October. I can always try for other weeks after 1st of the year though. Guessing I'll need at least a week to drive to Arkansas, camp, and drive back to St Pete, FL. Anyone every considered something in the Tennessee Smokies?

Scott and I went over Labor Day weekend and we were really surprised by how beautiful it was. Everything was so well maintained, clean, and beautiful. We were very impressed! The owners were pleasant and accommodating and the guests were great, too. We can't wait to go back!

If I'm not mistaken the Starlite Trailer Lodge is Family owned. Wish it was closer...we'd definitely go there!

Hi - my partner and I will be attending our first PTOWN rally this year. We're members of the NY Metro Unit (#10019) and looking forward to meeting other FOD airstream owners!
