Question East Coast rally

I'm so jealous of the west coast pride rally. My family and I are newbies and would like to get together with others on the east coast. We are just outside DC.

Hi Maxine,

We have a rally in the West, Midwest so maybe you should set one up in the east! Its not to hard to do and I'd help you (setting it up on Air) do it. As TBRICH and I found, set it up and they will come!

I wish I time to go to AZ but I'll have to wait until August. PM me if you want help.

Flagstaff, AZ - Pride in the Pines - Next Weekend!

We are 11 rigs strong (6 from AZ, 3 from NM, 2 from CA) heading to Pride in the Pines next weekend. It's not too late to join us, so hitch up that trailer and get yourselves over to Flagstaff! All the information you need is on this thread, or you can PM us.

We know everyone will "travel well" but be sure to travel safe, too! See you there!

Well, I gotta say, it's been a lot of fun.... Everybody got here safely and on time from hither and yon, and it was great to meet new fellows and gals and have a good time together.

Today was the Pride event in Flagstaff...it was nice. We saw some familiar faces along the way and enjoyed the walk through the park.

The KOA where we are staying is really quite accommodating, and also is hosting the Rainbow RV Club and another group called TOW (Traveling Our Way, mostly from AZ and CA from what we learned)... We interacted some with both groups, shared a happy hour hosted by Rainbow RV, which was at the campground outdoor "kitchen" area right next to where we were gathered, so we gave quite a few Airstream tours, of course. Some of us are leaving for new points tomorrow, but most of us are here till Monday...so we will have a chance to recuperate and lounge and hang out with the gang in the campground. We ended up with 11 rigs and were joined by a 12th FOD Airstreamer ... who was in the park with the Rainbow RV group but hung out with us most of the time... and joined in the fun. All in all a great time so far!

Sounds like you all had a great time. We went past Flag on Thursday morning and waved. We are in Kansas head east with T-Storms, Flooding and Tornadoes, it's all good.

Best wishes to all of our friends from Jan and I.

Hey Richard & Jan! Have a great time at the International - and safe travels!

I have to second what TB said. Pride in the Pines has been a lot of fun and we'll have to do it again next year! It was nice seeing everyone again and meeting some new 'streamers too!

I'm glad you all had a great time! Maybe we need to join you next year! I was happy to see 11 trailers for the first FOD rally and in August we gave 10 signed up! Of course we want lots of pictures and are you putting it in your blog (I love reading your blog)? I'm excited to see these events grow over the years and maybe we could all go to pride in the pines next year! Thanks again for the update.

Oh! I forgot to mention that the 4CUnit is gaining three new FOD couples as a result of this get together ... and it wasn't even a WBCCI rally! Two from CA and one from NM. We are pleased to welcome them to our Unit!

Flagstaff

I am just seeing all of this Flagstaff information! We went to Bisbee with a number of (non Airstream) folks in our RV group. The other half of our group was in Flagstaff though.

Hope you all had fun. We are in Phoenix and take our Airstream out frequently for weekend trips.

Hey gpwise! If we do the Flagstaff Pride again next year (and why wouldn't we??), you'll have to join us! Bisbee is great but it's a lot cooler in Flagstaff this time of year! We'd love to meet you! And if you're from Phx we really must get you introduced to this gang and the Four Corners Unit. The 4CU membership prides itself in its diversity, welcoming nature and its laid back attitude. We have such a great time with this group, it's hard to explain. We hope to meet you soon!
