Summer under the live oaks

Our 03 25' classic will be parked under a live oak tree as we work as camphosts for 3 months. Any ideas on covering/protecting the roof....??....maybe just suck it up and clean often with blower and broom??
Thanks......

All depends on how particular you are about keeping the roof clean. At a minimum, I'd blow it off monthly. Be aware that oaks are "leaky". Meaning they drop sap all summer long. We had 'em at our last house and our cars would get covered in sap over the course of the warmer months.

Realistically I'd recommend washing your rig monthly to keep ahead of the sap build-up. You'll probably end up washing the everything as your windows will most likely get pelted as well.

Live Oaks drip "sap" primarily from aphids and other insect infestations. It's actually honeydew from the aphids. So if you're lucky you may only have leaves and pollen to deal with. Depending on the campground you may be able to spray for aphids if you do have a honeydew problem.

Many bugs love the aphids too. Could always release a bunch of lady bugs for example if the spraying isn’t allowed

Blower, broom, bath.

Live oaks and their residents drop something or other pretty much year round here. Depending on time of year and in order from January on: leaves, pollen, blooms loaded with pollen, aphid "sap", worm poop, acorns. Between pressure-washings, my driveway has a zero-cost natural stain to it from the tannins in the acorns.
