Members!!
Well, except for a couple TAC membership requests today, I think I'm caught up on TAC ID requests.. if I've missed you.. I'm sorry... I get a ton of emails daily... and with the last 5 weeks of work and Reserves, and the surgery prior to that, and the BASH I, I think I've gotten to everyone. If not, just shoot me an email and I'll correct the situation. TAC's over 350 now!! and still growing. I love it!! It's all POSITIVE!! Let's not let the TAC Naysayer's ruin our fun!! Thanks AIR for being our TAC forum!! We appreciate it alot.

I think some Texans should consider have a Birthday Bash over the same dates as the one we are holding in PA. June 30 - July 5.

That's an interesting thought...concurrent Birthday Bashs in different parts of the country (North America...the World?!?) Cool.
The big pain for us would be that right about the time the one in the northeast / east coast is in say, Burlington VT, Mt Washington NH, or on the coast in ME...someone in the central states will be having theirs in Memphis, Branson MO, KC, or even the Big Easy. Then I'm gonna be ticked 'cause I can't go to both!
It's all good, though. As long as we're campin' and travellin', it's gotta be good.

We definitely need some in the central states -- there's certainly nothing going on in my area, are we're total newbs when it comes to rallies and wouldn't know the first thing about setting one up!

Right.... Wally will be turning 115 this year!! - the more BASHES the better...... and there should be no fear in putting an event on.. just put something together for people to rally around, and go for it.. my first was in 2004 or there abouts... about 20 showed up... and it was a blast.. I'm working on a Rally Host 101 for us!!
Later,
Rob

I'm new to Airstreams, but find it funny that someone is upset about starting a new club. Who cares! I've had a Raptor Toyhauler, a triple axle 15+K lbs so I've downsized to something that's easier to get around in and good for short weekend trips. My 2010 AS 30' FC seems to fit that bill perfectly. Just love it so far. So what's the story on other clubs getting upset about TAC? Is it about those red and blue numbers? Will ours be "black"? I did look at the club that has those rallies, but looked at the cost and figured I can do a lot better on my own and not be tethered to a caravan, just mho. There's great country in the late fall for Texas. My wife and I go at least twice a year to the Big Bend area, it's only a short 600+ mile distance from South Texas. Except for October we're game for a Texas Rally! TX-20

Hi Rapz and welcome!
I think the other clubs don't care, but some of the members of the other clubs realized that we have some things they can never compete with.
FREE: there is no charge to be a member of our club.
FREE: you can do what you want.
It's like civilization: it starts off great and has energy. Then it makes rules, then it makes more rules, and finally, it dies in a pile of red numbers, I mean tape. Then there's a revolution and a new civilization starts.

58flycloud, Could you explain how BROWN: relaxing, confident, casual, reassuring, nature, earthy, solid, reliable, genuine, Autumn, endurance became brown= Nazi? I went to that link and see no reference to Nazism at all. They wore grey not brown. Just trying to understand why brown is equated to the Nazi movement. You can pick any color you wish so feel free to pick silver or any other. You can even pick the rainbow as your color if you wish...

There's a lot of space between dictatorship and anarchy. Has the US become so polarized that any rules are equated with dictatorship and Nazis?

I am continually amazed at at the direction a thread can go...
This is a little reminder to keep the posting on topic.

glad to know I am not the only one amazed. Pick what ever color floats your boat. Hopefully someone will be happy with what YOU choose.
