Our trailer is equipped with pretty much a complete bar only because we you never know what you are going to want when you are on a trip.
I forgot about mimosas - yes! In the morning. A nice Mumm Cuvee Napa Blanc De Noir and OJ with LOTS of pulp! Why bother having breakfast?!?

One of the things we enjoy about being out in the Airstream is that we can enjoy certain time consuming foods and drink that we do not trouble ourselves with in our daily lives. Like properly brewed black or green teas (depending upon, well just depending on lots of things). This means loose leaves, good water brought just to a rolling boil, and a few minutes to steep. Or real home made hot chocolate in cold weather.

Wine is our first choice, however a good Bloody Mary with Simply Bloody mix is kinda NICE!

I have not had this mix but I have seen it in the store. If I did use something like that I would wind up adding something to it - just because. I do like to play around like that.
I have used the pickled mild vegitables (I forget the brand name) in my martinis before. Take several pieces of the veggies and throw them in a glass. Make the martini and add that and it is like having a drink and a snack at the same time.

Wine-a good Merlot or Cabernet; good Scotch, undisturbed (!); Vodka Tonic with lime in summer; Corona, Moosehead, or Molson. . .hm, ready for happy hour in camp! We haven't had a camping trip since mid-July so we are WAY behind. May have to be a November-Shiver Around the Campfire Happy Hour. Max would join in with those having the Spicy Bloody Marys.

Isn't that breakfast???
I'm pretty simple in my tastes--wine and plenty of it--I tend to buy Italian--red or white, depending, but I do also love beer--the one thing I'll miss now that we have the Safari is cooler beer when we're camping--delicious.
But if you're doing a recipe book--
Black Velvet
1/2 Guiness and 1/2 champagne--powerful stuff!

Ok - if you want a recipe...
In a coffee mug:
6 oz hot espresso
1 oz Calvados (or more if camping really bad weather - or if it's Friday)
Sugar to taste
Stir w/ cinnamon stick
Whipped cream on top - if you're trying to impress or feeling really sorry for yourself....
repeat

I'll think I'll head to the liquor store right now! It's Friday, AND the weather is nasty, AND I wish I was sitting around a campfire, in a beautiful location, with lots of AS buddies!

Well while camping, I usually have Southern Comfort and Coke.
A Margarita is good too. I still need to get a shaker for martinis. Maybe for Beverly Beach I will bring the fixins for Bloody Marys and Martinis.
Then a cold beer on a hot day is good too. Usually a micro-brew of some sort.
