Where's Andy Rogozinski

Hello Airforum People,
Anybody know what happened to Andy Rogozinski of Inland RV Center?

He used to be a regular contributor and a WEALTH of AS knowledge...not sure but I think he grew up with Wally....smile.

Just wondering?????

Hmmmm.... I've wondered the same thing. Many disagreed with Andy on certain topics but I feel I learned quite a bit from him on a number of useful subjects.

Inquiring minds want to know. Maybe the moderators can shed light on his whereabouts.

I miss his input also. Never had a question that he could not answer, or at least point me in the right direction. hope all is ok with him.

According to Andy, he was banned for giving what was considered an incorrect answer.

Banned? Who's the moderator that made that brilliant decision?

Bring. Him. Back. Now.

Honestly.

Misinterpretation of one persons so called facts is a common problem on the forums whether the facts are accurate or not. Too often I read things that are accepted as factual even tnough there is no basis of factuality other than the posters words. Other times I see posts that are very accurate only to have the poster attacked because his comments go against the norm decided by a few on here.

Folks, I've been a moderator here from almost the early beginnings of this forum. There have been many members who we do not see posting here anymore. Obviously some have passed away, others just don't have interest being here any more, and some (a few) have been banned. No matter the reason, our paramount rule as part of the moderation staff is that we do not discuss moderator actions, or lack of, on the public side of the forum. We also do not discuss in public threads, what we feel is information that would violate your privacy. I'm sure none of you would champion discussion of you and the presence, absence, or speculation about you in a public forum. In addition it would be a one sided discussion potentially and that is highly unethical. In addition you are all aware that we do not allow vendor disputes to be discussed on the forum since we all know there are two sides to every story and that one sided discussions are many times not always true or may not tell the entire story.

As you read this thread you will see lots of speculation and I will vary from our stance this much. Andy has not been banned due to him giving "an incorrect answer". If you read our community rules and TOS you will see no infractions for incorrect answers and we are all aware that information given on this forum should be taken at your own risk. We do not fact check any statement or piece of advice given here.

So the final word on this is that we will close this thread since speculation about a person's status will bring about no resolution, especially if there is a questioning of the moderators actions, motivations, or policies. Essentially, the answer as to why you no longer see a particular member posting is that they aren't posting (and there are many), or the member has been banned (and there are some).

Jack
