I have sent an email to this dealer to see if they have anything about Travel Trailers...to see what the response would be...I am still looking into other options for them.

Rv 500

Be careful with a thankless water heater that is not approved for RV use. I installed the RV 500 which is an approved RV replacement. It fits in either the standard 6 gallon or 10 gallon water heater space and can be ordered with a great looking brushed aluminum cover. I have attached pdf files with pictures of my install (RV 500) and some additional info. It works great. The electronic sensor detects water movement in the hot water line and ignites the burner. With in 2 to 3 seconds you have hot water flowing. Turn off the water and the burner goes off. As long as you have a water supply and propane you have have hot water.

This is part of the email that I got back from the tankless contact.....
Obviously, for a "mobile" unit you'd want to be sure there are no fragile components (which these have none) and fuel storage safety.
Since it opeates on LP gas, the source of gas is containerized in UL listed - tanks that are safe for travel trailers. One note: This unit does not have a standing pilot light, so there is only CO2 when the unit is operating I think that this is the tank that we are going to go with and see how it goes.
Sorry should really have said "tankless"!!!

How does this unit vent to the outside when operating?
