What year is this Airstream ?

I hope this is not the wrong section. I found an ad and this airstream is for sale. However its just one pic in the ad and I am atempting to gain more information like what length it is as its kind of hard to tell. I was wondering what year it is or close and then what thinks to look for in this era?

I any case, here is the only pic I have. I thought that the airstreams with the layers panels at the rear were older ones?

It's pre-1957.....I'm guessing around '53 or 54.

It would be later than '53/'54 because it has that beautiful sloped rear end like my '57. 18 footer? Maybe 55-57. Whatever it is, get it.

Gorgeous, don't know the year, the serial # should tell you. What a lovely lady though. If the price is right don't pass it up.

I'm no expert on vintage units, so don't trust my info on this... WDCU has a bunch of members that have vintage units, so I picked up a few tidbits here and there, but my knowledge is mostly limited to "more panels = more old".
