I have been towing with a 1999 Suburban for a while and am pleased with the results. When my wife needed a newer car to drive, we looked for something that would also be able to pull out '75 Tradewind and settled on a 2007 Saturn Outlook with the factory tow package. The tow capacity is there and we do not overload the trailer when we go. We are in the southeast and the majority of our travels are on mostly flat or rolling hills. I would love to hear some reports on towing with one of these. We have a weight distribution hitch and a sway control bar. Do I just need to hook up our break controller and I am ready to go? We have a Prodegy P2 in the 'Burb and could easily move it over to the Saturn.
I know that Andy Thomson, towing guru of CanAm RV fame, is fond of GM's Lambda platform SUVs for towing. Check out posts for folks with a Buick Enclave, Chevy Traverse, or GMC Acadia - they're all basically the same. The Outlook was the least common of the family.

Thank you. I emailed them through their website once before, but never received an answer. I will do a search for the Acadia and other vehicles like it and see what I come up with. I appreciate the help. I think the main thing I am wondering is if there is supposed to be frame reinforcement even with the tow package.
