On the topic of heavy, unyielding and cumbersome 50 amp cables...go to camping world and get a Stromberg Carlson hose/cable caddy. They are a gray color and on sale for $19.. We have been using it on our 2018 26 RB for the past three months on a long shakedown cruise. First time coiling it in was a chore, but from there you can leave the cable coiled and pull out what you need. Picking up the whole basket with cable is easier and it fits in the back storage area on the 26. Over time and use the cable gets much more pliable.
