I have about 100 feet or so of gravel driveway (leads to the building where my Airstream sits) on the lot adjacent to my house, which I'd like to offer as a temporary haven for any Airstreams fleeing the path of the hurricane. I can only offer 110 service, and water though. Welcome to stay as long as you need.
PM me if interested. Elgin is 25 miles east of Austin.
Man...I feel for all the people in Texas.I am watching the news right now and when they showed the ocean it was completely calm.I am in Panama City Beach and we have been getting a swell from the Hurricane since around 7:00 A.M. this morning when it was flat and has picked up considerabley.I went surfing for a while in the evening and the swell hitting the beach is already well over 4 to 5 feet.We expect the surf to pickup very fast now.Judging from the buoy readings this swell is going to do some damage on the Texas coast. It will hurt us to a little with beach erosion.Good luck to all.

Devo,
I have some friends just up from you in Santa Rosa Beach. Glad to hear that the weather is not too bad.
Thanks for the update and I sure do like the great offers from other Forum Members.
We would offer our Airstreams to anyone needing a place to stay. We are in Greenville, Tx. If you are heading to Arlington, Tx., our son would be happy for someone to stay in his Argosy.
